When to Take a Day Off (and Take Care of Yourself)

Sometimes a day off is exactly what you need to be productive or creative after a slump. This happens to me all the time. I work too hard and allow myself small doses of relaxation and fun. Usually it doesn’t rejuvenate me though because I rarely actually let myself fully relax. An hour or two of relaxation doesn’t help when you are stressing about what needs to be done later in the day. I’ve been hearing this a lot from people lately. Taking a day off or even a vacation can make you feel so much better and improve productivity. Instead of struggling to finish your tasks/ideas and doing a poor job, know when to take a day off and take care of yourself!
